The program significantly boosted my confidence on the field, knowing I could trust my abilities with the ball and play aggressively due to my improved strength and speed from performance training at the gym. It also enhanced my leadership skills by allowing me to support younger athletes, serve as a role model, and take on the captaincy for the team, which made me realize that the coaches had faith in my capabilities. ATC played a crucial role in the development of my mindset as well.
I feel the performance training I underwent helped me improve my confidence, agility, and strength as an athlete. I gained a significant amount of lean muscle while reducing body fat, as shown in my body scans. Jose helped push us by keeping us focused and setting a high standard for us to follow. I think that this program definitely gave me a better mentality, which motivates me to strive for more. ATC training is one of my favorite activities during the summer and throughout the year, to be honest. This summer (25') was especially memorable because our team and individual athletes improved significantly. Summer ATC is both fun and challenging, playing a major role in enhancing our performance training. Jose is an excellent coach and trainer who has helped us grow athletically, technically, and especially mentally, which are all crucial aspects that have benefited me on the field. Training with Jose at ATC has truly been worthwhile, and he has been a crucial piece in my personal development; I believe all my teammates would agree with this sentiment.
My ATC experience during the summer was fantastic! A lot of new things stood out to me, such as my strength, speed, and power as an athlete. My experience with Coach Jose was excellent; he was a great coach who pushed us more and more every day to become better athletes and individuals. Coach Jose will always support you, and I would say he is one of the best coaches I've had. The performance training program helped me in numerous ways, especially by boosting my confidence. After all the hard work we put in at the gym, I began to believe in myself as the player I aspire to be. My mindset was focused on big goals for high school soccer: to win state, to be a starter on the squad, and I truly feel stronger and better with the program. It was a remarkable experience for me.
What stood out were the workouts; I enjoyed being with my friends, having fun while working hard through this performance training program in the summer. The workouts were the most challenging part. Coach Jose pushed us to show up on time and work hard in every gym session we attended. By sharing his backstory, he motivated us to keep pushing forward. Coach was there every day, supporting us in every workout to help us improve and get better. He also helped us understand what foods we needed to eat to gain or maintain weight in order to build muscle. This program significantly boosted my confidence with the ball at my feet and made me stronger. Additionally, it shaped my mindset, as Coach emphasized the expectations for games and the future of aspiring athletes. Athletes interested in this program should expect high-intensity workouts.
